Back in 2016, gamer buddies and great friends, Michelle, Mario and Page would frequent LAN parties and board game cafes. However these events were far and few between and there was not a board game cafe close to home. They soon realised that they could be the ones to bring board gaming to Hertfordshire, and actually work in an industry where their passions lie.

Taking a giant leap of faith and with bounds of confidence, Mario, Page and Michelle decided to take the plunge! After a year of researching, securing loans, chasing solicitors and Kickstarter funding, the dream became a reality! Since 26th January 2017 d20 has been Hertfordshire's first dedicated board game cafe and we couldn't be prouder of it!
