Insights: Bulldog (A New Start)

James Ernest explains the daily challenges of tabletop game design in the "Insights" series. In this video, he discusses a new starting rule for the game of Bulldog.

James visits the Puget Sound Playtest Group for their biweekly game night, and then discusses a specific improvement to the first step of Bulldog.

Bulldog is a lightweight game for the Blossom Deck, and was designed for a story set in James' Dew Point universe. Bulldog has some similarities to poker, but a distinct set of mechanics.
