Roleplaying the Ancient World: The Making of the 'Lex Arcana' RPG - Francesca Garello

Published: Sun 5th Jun

Lex Arcana is a role-playing game set in an alternative version of the ancient Roman Empire that includes fantasy elements based on classical culture. It was launched with a very successful Kickstarter campaign and subsequently saw the publication of various supplements.

Francesca Garello acted as historical and archaeological consultant for the project and will address questions such as how much does the Lex Arcana world match the ancient one? Where do the timelines diverge? How can fantasy elements be added to an historical game?
