How to Play Masala Lab: Game 3 (Dessert)
This is a how-to-play video of the boardgame "Masala Lab" by XOtoXO Games.
Masala Lab is a family boardgame about Indian food for 2-4 players, based on the best-selling book of the same name, by author Krish Ashok. Masala Lab has a total of three games.
This video covers the third game - called "Dessert". Masala Lab comes in two sizes - Standard & Mini, and this game can be played only with the Standard box.
This is a standalone game and doesn't require you to have watched the other two Games (Tiffin & Sadhya) that are also in the box. In this game, you're trying to complete orders for fussy guests, who want their orders of 4 dishes to be placed in Tetris shapes! Making Tetris shapes with cards scores points, and the highest scorer at the end of the game wins.
For boardgame enthusiasts, the main mechanic in this game is pattern formation.
For this game, you need all 4 boards of the Masala Lab Standard box, placed with the "wooden" side facing up. You only need "Deck 3" of cards that are in the box, and 4 cubes of each player's chosen colour.
